Immerse Yourself in Indigenous Cultural Activities on the Coffs Coast!

Luke Young • Mar 28, 2022

If a visit to Coffs Harbour is on the cards, we highly suggest immersing yourself in the rich Indigenous culture we have here.

The mid north coast is home to the Gymbaynggirr people, who have occupied the area since the Yuludarla or The Dreaming.

The Gumbaynggirr people shared their land with other nations, due to their land being so rich with food and other resources. Because of this, they were traditionally known as the ‘sharing people’.

Below are some fantastic cultural experiences you can undertake when on the Coffs Coast.

Wajaana Yaam Gumbaynggirr Adventure Tours

Running tours in 3 stunning Coffs Coast locations, the tours take place on the homelands of the Gumbaynggirr Tribal Nation, ensuring you have a 100% authentic cultural experience.
